Get in the Champions Online beta

K, go there, read the instructions. They'll say download magazine 32 or this link http://www.gamerzines.com/downloads/magazines/PCGZine_32.pdf

as you can see it's a pdf. When you open it, it will ask a bunch of questions. You need it in full screen mode, and need to accept it because there are flash things in it. At the top, hit reviews, then scroll down til you get to champions page. put in name and what not. I unchecked those boxes about cconsoles, i think they were gonna email me, and it still seemed to work

The checks are about which of those free magazines you want to download too (PSP, PS3,...). Seems quite innocent and free. I'll never get used to read magazines in digital format tough.

Good news? Finally got a fraking key for the game.

MMO is a no-go for me, but the '87 Hero System was my favorite RPG ruleset ever (and I still have a copy of the original Champions rulebook somewhere). I hope the two main guys behind that are still getting something from the big corp that bought the rights.

I play City of Heroes and love it. I have strong doubts about this one. Seems it has a more "arcade" feel and City of Heroes under NCSoft is MUCH MUCH better than under Cryptic.

You won't find enought of that in the game to overcome the console kiddie feel of the rest of the game...

Yep, I signed up. I'm pretty jazzed about this game...though it comes out on sept. 1....just a few days before the public beta of Elemental.
